users, but, their rebranding
with a new trademark is in my
opinion not an improvement in
any way for their product
recognition. In fact, I feel it
is a step backwards to replace
TaxCut with At Home
for a registered trademark. Far
from search friendly, this new
term will get lost in search
results even far easier than
TaxCut did.
When the SEO campaigns become a
difficult process due to common
phrase trademarks, there is not
a whole lot you can do to filter
out web pages that use that
common phrase. Therefore when
your looking for this product,
you get results that are far
from what your looking for.
So keep your eye
out, we may even see another
change along this line if H&R
Block finds that this move has
not helped with product
recognition.
